Elizabeth Gauld is a Registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor who has been practicing for the past 14 years in south western Ontario providing support to individuals, couples, families and groups. Elizabeth has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Adler University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Psychology from York University.
Elizabeth’s rich life experiences enable her to relate to clients with diverse experiences, backgrounds and goals. She works with each client as a unique individual, according to the client’s distinctive timeline, choices and goals.
Elizabeth offers counselling in the areas of anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, stress, grief/loss, trauma, substance abuse/addiction and personal growth. She works in the rehabilitation area helping individuals cope and recover from trauma and pain. Elizabeth also has experience in the business world in the Human Resources field and offers career counselling to individuals.
She has an eclectic practice, offering a variety of psychotherapy techniques personalized to meet the individual needs of her clients. These include Cognitive Behavioural, Dialectical Behavioural, Behavioural, Interpersonal, Solutions-Based and Psychodynamic therapies – to name a few.
